I just spent the whole day studying not-so-ass-hard for the Computer Studies exam (the last one, thank God), doing my, well, Computer exam (damn easy, I expect a mark above 95%, oh God please, thank you), packing my bags for the flight tomorrow and yeah, sleeping. Wow. My birthday has been reduced to sleeping my lazy arse off and eating white spaghetti (which is damn good by the way, it’s got mussels and mushrooms, mmm~). Wow, yet again.
Random people’ve been greeting me (the girls gave me hugs, and I got several pokes from my mates), and after quite some time, the class finally got the idea that it was my birthday and sang me that over-clichéd-over-sang-über-corny birthday song. I begged them to stop (I tried, I really did), I told them already I appreciated their efforts trying not to sound so badly off-key and of course they didn’t. What to do? Haha, crazy class, they make me laugh.
Here’s a conversation between me and Brandy (yet again).
Chels: I can’t quite recall what I was rambling on about.
Brandy: Blablabla.
AJ: Hey, happy birthday.
Chels: Aww, thanks.
Brandy: It’s your birthday?
Chels: Umm yeah?
Brandy: Oh. Nods his head.
Chels: Mmhmm.
Silence of about 5 seconds.
Brandy: Happy Birthday.
Chels: Well that took you long enough.
Crazy. I guess he was lagging, took him five whole seconds for the fact that it was my birthday to sink in. Haha, Pentium 1 alright.
Can’t quite blame myself my two bestfriends forgot my birthday (ouch). No matter, in less than 24 hours, I’ll be on the plane back to my homeland. Oh wait-- I thought this place was my homeland. WHUAA? Whatever, back to my cousins, back to my relatives, back to my grandparents, back to the oh-so-huge malls, back to my Philippines (: Can hardly wait now.
Ta~
